Services
Our Services:
- Comprehensive physicals and wellness plans
At Balance for Life, we treat each person as an individual and strive to develop very personalized plans. We begin with investigations and examinations to ensure proper health maintenance, prevention and management of risks, followed by a combination of education, counseling and treatment of symptoms. We encourage diet and lifestyle changes and follow with medication if needed.
We also offer an executive health package that includes a body composition analysis in addition to your annual physical. This gives you the opportunity to partner with us in tracking and optimizing your overall health (modest additional fee).
In addition, we provide Pap smears, office gynaecology and breast examinations for patients with specific concerns in these areas.
- Menopause consultations
Dr. Andrews is a Registered Menopause Practitioner and a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. She is extremely knowledgeable about the management and treatment of hormonal imbalances and menstrual disorders.
While all women experience menopause, each woman does so in her own unique way. Your menopausal experience is greatly affected by genetic, lifestyle and dietary factors, your overall level of health and fitness, as well as emotional stresses and attitudes. Fortunately, peri-menopause (menopause transition) and menopause are now better understood and more openly discussed than ever before. We can help guide you through this journey with honest advice and a holistic approach to your physical, emotional, social and psychological well-being.
